Ghastly Eyeballs

This recipe can make about eight (8) dozen eyeballs

Ingredients:

- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup of pineapple juice
- 1 and half cups of mini-marshmallows
- 7 oz of cream cheese (lowfat optional)
- 1 cup of mayonnaise (lowfat/fat free optional)
- 2 and a half cups of lemon gelatin (sugar-free is optional)

Step by Step:

Heat water in your double boiler and melt lemon gelatin. Throw in the marshmallows and stir till it is melting. Take the blend off the heat and add the cream cheese and pineapple juice. Beat mixture until the ingredients have been mixed well and cool for 5 minutes before stirring in the mayo. Decant the mixture into a round ceramic dish or round ice cube trays and set in the fridge. After the mixture is set, scoop the eyeballs (with melon baller or ice cream scoop) into waxed paper then set them aside to be decorated. For the decoration, use some liquid food colour and apply on the pupils and irises as needed.

Hags Fingers

A.k.a Salami and Cream Cheese Wraps

Ingredients:

- Toothpicks
- Cream Cheese
- Salami (Sliced)
- Mini sweet pickles

Procedure:

Cut the pickles into 4s lengthwise. The length of the pickles must be fairly similar to the salami’s length. Apply a thin spread of the cream cheese on the cut salami and then fold it round the cut pickle. Fasten the wrapping with a tooth pick to keep shape. You can also get some Halloween-themed toothpicks to give it that extra spooky kick.

Spooky Sandwiches

Ingredients:

- Bread (cut)
- Sandwich filling (to your liking)
- Halloween-themed cookie cutters (best if made out of metal)
- Condiments

Procedure:

Spread a layer of filling on the sandwiches. Make sure that the amount of filling is enough to make the sandwiches stick together and not fall to bits when you cut them. Once the sandwich is done, cut the edges of the sandwich using the cookie cutter. You should utilize a cutter made out of metal as the plastic ones often do not cut through the contents of the sandwich. If required, secure the sandwich by using a toothpick.
