2 years to 5 years costumes question by giasddds: Dog costumes for Halloween … suggestions?
We have a choc lab, doberman mix, he’s 2 years old, super friendly and my 5 year old daughter wants to enter him in a Halloween costume contest for dogs. He’s big, about 100 pounds, thin but muscular and he’s dark brown. I have no idea what to do. She wanted to put him in a princess dress with rain boots! But my husband talked her out of it. Any suggestions would be great.

you could make you daughter and dog wear matching costumes…thats what im doing with mine my daughters going to be Patrick Star , and my Pit Bull is going to be SpongeBob….i think a matching costume would be cute… maybe like if she wants to be a princess make him a prince.

I expected this costume to be like the Power Ranger and Spiderman Muscle costumes that I purchased in previous years. It is not. This costume’s muscles are made out of cardboard (power ranger and spiderman is stuffing), and was very uncomfortable. On Halloween when we put it on my son, we ended up having to cut some of the neck out because it was so uncomfortable.

|Cute Superman Costume,
My son just turned four and LOVES superman. He was so excited when we got this costume! Overall, it’s pretty cute. He says he feels super strong with the built-in muslces, and has been running all over the house saving the day.
Pros: It seems fairly well made. My son has been wearing it around the house for a few days now, and I see no seem issues.
Cons: The sizing is a little off in our case. My son is tall for his age, and though this costume says small is for four to six year olds, there are a couple of inches hanging off of the boots – seems way too big for a four year old. The cape is also a little uncomfortable, as the weight drags it back against my son’s neck. While running around the house I see him pulling at it frequently, but he doesn’t want to take off his superhero cape!

My 4 year old loves his costume and it is as it looks in picture. The muscle are made out of some hard foamy thing not cardboard which is good. However it does look like it will rip after a few times wearing it.
